The snip

Many of you know I had an adult circumcision about 10 months ago, and due to the many questions I have received about how the healing process went and what it was like I decided to create a blog to share my experience.

Here is a pic of how I looked the day before the surgery, the foreskin while not to tight to retract all the way had began to get irritated after vigorous physical activity and exercise. I had never liked being uncut so that was a good reason to say good bye foreskin. Now let me stop right here and say, do not come crying mutilation and "not how God intended us to be" and all that junk, I do not feel the least bit mutilated and am more than happy I had the procedure done.

This is the evening of the surgery, the foreskin is history and I am all bandaged up for the night. The procedure its self was a breeze, I had no pain at all and while I was given prescription pain meds I never had them filled, and controlled the pain great with extra strength Tylenol only. I was awake for the whole thing and actually watched the Dr. as he worked and asked many questions and honestly enjoyed seeing how it was performed. In this pic it has been about 8 hours since the surgery.

Here is the day after surgery I have just changed the bandage, sorry I forgot the camera, the head is pretty swollen from all the anaesthetic that was pumped into it, and the incision is a little tender but no real pain though.

This is day 3 during the bandage change, it is still very bruised and tender, but the swelling has gone down a good bit. As bad as it looks here I am still relatively pain free, the Tylenol is working well and other than some discomfort I'm good.

Day 4 looks a lot like day 3 still a lot of bruising but not as much swelling, and I can see where some of the skin is growing closed where the stitches are.

Bandage change 1 week after, looking pretty good I think and healing very well, today was my first day back at work. Other than some mild discomfort had a good day and no problems.

Week 2 and I am no longer wearing a bandage, the incision site is scabbed over and healing very well, some of the stitches have started coming out and each day I have one or two to pull out, that is painless only a bit of pressure. I keep a very close eye out for infection and clean the incision site 3 times per day with an antiseptic solution. Loving the new look.

Week 4 and almost all of the stitches are out now, had my followup visit with the Dr. he was very pleased and said in another couple of weeks the last few open places will be closed and by week 6 I can resume sexual activity. Good news if ever there was any.

Week 7 and I am all healed up, the last spot closed up during week 6 and I have no discomfort at all, it is as if I have been cut all of my life. I can not help but say how happy I am with my results and how easy the whole process was.

Here is a shot during month 9 no problems at all since the operation, I can not tell you how much more enjoyable sex is now. Many people ask me how much sensation I have lost during this time. I can honestly say I have lost only a tiny amount due to natural thickening of the skin in the head. This has in now way had an affect on sensation or pleasure. I love my new toy.

I hope this will help anyone who has questions about the procedure or what to expect if they are considering having it done. I would be more than happy to answer any questions of share any other pics, all you have to do is let me know.
